The British Ambassador Ian Bond and a team from the British Council visited the key university towns in Latgale - Daugavpils and Rezekne -  presenting them with touchscreen internet displays, providing internet access through a portal with information about the life and and education in the UK.

The British Council delivered presentations on higher education in the UK for EU students.

The initiative helped promote Britain's image in Latgale, offering highly sought information about education opportunities in the UK.
