Changes to online applications and payments

13 February 2012: All applications for a UK visa made in Latvia must be completed and paid for online in Euros from 27 February 2012.

From 27 February 2012 all applications for a UK visa must be completed using our online application system and paid for online in Euros before going to the visa application centre in Riga to submit a printed copy of the application form and biometric data (fingerprints and photograph).

Appointments to submit applications at the visa application centre must be booked online when completing the online application form.

The visa application centre in Riga will only accept applications from those who have applied and booked an appointment online.

This is part of a global move to allow almost all our customers to apply and pay for their visas online by 2013/14.
